I love your "one minute at a time ..." On my old blog, there is an entry called "Four minutes," and it talks about how quickly things can go bad .... Just keep racking up those moments of good stuff, you are on your way!Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17859685185653633248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8977098453841625304.post-82661510714774902572011-01-29T18:06:28.072-08:002011-01-29T18:06:28.072-08:00Becky, what an amazing thing you are doing for you...Becky, what an amazing thing you are doing for yourself saying No. And to say No and not have to explain why you are saying No. "No IS a complete sentence." Wish I could remember who said that a few years back because he/she was right on...

And saying No isn't selfish...sometimes, as you note, it's just downright self preserving!

I'm sure the hardest piece of this does involve your mom and sister and that does make the heart ache. Bravo to you for talking things out and sharing with her what you are doing and why it's so vital that you continue. Shaking up your status quo can't help but give a jiggle to your loved ones status quo....ripple effect.

Keep on keeping on...Sherrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05744670447443802275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8977098453841625304.post-81515140880031210932011-01-29T12:51:56.489-08:002011-01-29T12:51:56.489-08:00Wow Becky! Like it was said in class, most people are going to ask about the weight loss etc while we are doing this, they don't understand that it is about so much more. I don't think I realized the depth of it either, today is very emotional for me too. I will be blogging here in a little bit, when I can gather all of my thoughts. You should be EXTREMELY proud of yourself, for your choices! Great job!
No excuses!
Becky- (Williamson) ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
